Directions: In the box below each sentence, write the correct tense of the verb in parentheses to create tense consistency.

1. Bertrand put the children into daycare, registered for classes, and spent a semester at the local community college. This made him very happy.
2. I spent all my cash on silly things, and then my credit card was stolen. That was unfortunate.

4. The child rode his bicycle through the streets filled with traffic. It was dangerous.
